Growing up at the margins

This ethnographic visual project provides a black-and-white portrait of the lives of young people engaged with criminal narco-gangs in and around Medellín, Colombia’s second biggest city. It shows objects and sceneries of their daily lives, and tries to portray their outlooks and behaviours while protecting anonymity.

The city: A living portrait

This photo series takes an unconventional look at the Latin American urban space, by juxtaposing elements of contrast: be it nature against a valley of skyscrapers; humans against a flood of cars; or steel against a polluted sky, these contrasts make the heart and soul of the Latin American city.

Walls with colours

Graffiti pictures are quite possibly the easiest to take, but what are these colourful walls trying to tell us? Be it through expressive faces or evocative slogans, this picture series wants to bring out the voices of Latin American cities’ walls and let them speak to those watching.
